At Scala Sports, we're redefining racket sports leagues. Our innovative app is designed to help people get out and play exciting matches against players at their level, at times that fit their schedule. We work with some of the largest tennis and padel associations in the world (USTA, LTA, and KNLTB) and are growing fast. We're looking for a Lead Product Manager to join our management team. 

Position Overview:

As our Lead Product Manager, you will join our management team with the two founders and play a pivotal role in leading our product strategy. You will lead a talented team of 7 developers to ensure our app remains a top choice for racket sports enthusiasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Define and drive our product vision and roadmap

  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of 7 developers

  • Client Management: Lead tech-related meetings with the racket sports associations

  • User Research: Gather valuable user insights and feedback, integrating design principles for exceptional user experiences

  • KPI Tracking: Continuously monitor product performance and improvements

What we are looking for: 

  • Relevant experience managing cross-functional dev teams (backend, frontend, mobile engineers and design)

  • Customer-centric product development and data-driven approach

  • Design proficiency 

  • Curious attitude

Vacancy: Business Development Intern

Job description

We are looking for an ambitious student to join our team as a Sales and Marketing intern. You':ll work side-by-side with the Scala founders to generate new business partnerships with tennis clubs and create innovative ways to grow the Scala user base. You'll be the direct point of contact for many of our sports partners and develop the skills needed to bring a deal in from start to signature.


  • Improve and execute our sales strategy that grows our user base

  • Regular contact with our partners to discuss progress/satisfaction

  • Developing recommending and executing new and innovative marketing strategies that lead to increasing the number of daily active users

  • Researching and analyzing the market, customer, and competitor trends


  • Available for at least 3 months in 2024

  • Fluency in Dutch or English, Dutch is a pre

  • Creative person with an eager passion for growth (hacking)

  • Passionate about startups/sports

  • Excellent communication skills
